Spotlights – innovative light sources for inside and outside
The term spotlight contains many different kinds of lights. Exterior spotlights, surface-mounted spotlights for furniture, recessed lights or
LED spotlights: all these lights are encompassed by this term. What they have in common is the directed emission of the light. By doing so, certain areas within an environment can be illuminated and provided with a pleasant room atmosphere. Spotlights differ themselves by the way they are attached. Whereas recessed spotlights are fitted flush into the ceiling or wall, surface-mounted spotlights are completely visible. Recessed spotlights are classified as wall, recessed floor or recessed ceiling spotlight.
Potential fields of application of spotlights are almost infinitely. They can be used both in outside and inside areas. For example, they are very popular as light sources in gardens where they illuminate trees and scrubs and so provide a pleasant mood light. Indoors, they serve as a source for optimally zoned light and are an absolute highlight in any
living area. Even in the hallway or the entrance area spotlights are the perfect light solution. Its use as a recessed floor light usually takes place in the garden, where the spotlight serves as a lighting of paths and green spaces. Surface-mounted spotlights for furniture are exceptional accessories, which give any furniture a special touch. As outdoor spotlights, for example, they serve as lighting for walkways or gateways. This task can be undertaken by the implementation of recessed wall spotlights at the outside of buildings as well. With their cone of light, recessed ceiling spotlights provide a very pleasant mood of light and a harmonic illumination of interior spaces. Spotlights differ in two ways they illuminate their environment: Some light an object accurately and on the spot. Others illuminate not just the concerning target, but also their surroundings.
